Always see daylight

One of the things Coach Sean has stressed for 7U baserunners is that when they're going from second to third and the ball is hit on the left side, they should see daylight between the ball and the infielder's hand before they try to advance to the next base. In other words, they should make sure the ball is actually thrown before they run, so that they don't run into a tag by a tricky infielder.

You know who else might want to join 7U at practice next week to practice that play? The Colorado Rockies.

A bigger version is here. The moral? It happens even to the pros.
